Training as a chorister in Croydon Minster, Edward subsequently became Junior Organ Scholar. Attending Whitgift School, Edward was the school organist, studying with Andrew Cantrill, and Ian le Grice, of the Temple Church. He was Organ Scholar at St. Martin's Church, Dorking, studying under Martin Ellis, before taking up the organ scholarship at Brasenose College, Oxford, in 2013, from where he was awarded a double First Class degree in Geography.
Edward is an experienced organist, and freelances regularly as an organist and choral conductor across London, including Christ Church, Hampstead Square, and St. Stephen's, Rochester Row, and has been the Organist of St. Matthew's, Kensington since September 2016. Edward is also a recitalist across Oxford and beyond, with recent recital venues including HM Chapel Royal, Hampton Court Palace.
Currently Sub-Organist at Balliol College, Oxford, where he is responsible for accompanying and directing the mixed-voice choir, Edward is available as an organist for weddings, funerals, and other special occasions. Please do contact him for more information.
